Thinking in color is second nature.

Alexis Senter grew up in the automotive industry in Los Angeles around her father’s role in PR for Ford’s West Coast region. Her early aptitude for color and intrigue with all things automotive led to her first position at Ford Motor Company where she immersed herself in a fundamental understanding of the industry.

From there, Alexis was hired to lead advanced design research at Calty Design, Toyota’s North American design operation, which gave her room to test new concepts. Along the way, she realized sometimes those new concepts didn’t always require a radical approach but required looking at what existed in new ways.

Following Calty, she was recruited to establish the in-house color and materials studio for Volvo’s Southern California location. Projects for industrial and automotive clients continued, with her summers spent at the annual Monterey Historics leading to a role working with the top Porsche, Ferrari, and Mercedes restorers and customizers in the country to meet their specific requirements for interior materials.

For Alexis, her love of design and color, whether for cars or interiors, led to the creation of Le Future Classic, where she is able to take her expertise and attention to detail to help successfully bring these projects to life.
